How do I place a bid?

English auctions

Each bid must be at least the minimum increment above the current highest bid. The lot page shows the current price and minimum next bid at all times.

You cannot bid if you are already the highest bidder. You will receive a notification if someone outbids you.

Dutch auctions

The price starts high and drops each minute. When you see a price you are willing to pay, bid at that price. The first person to bid wins immediately. There is no back-and-forth. One bid closes the lot.

Requirements

• You must have a GGH account and be logged in to bid.
• Some lots require a minimum account tier (shown on the lot page).
• Accounts suspended from auctions cannot bid.
