What should I know before attending an event?

Before you arrive

• Arrive on time. Late arrivals may miss their first round.
• Bring your deck. Make sure it meets the format's rules (card legality, deck size, etc.).
• Bring your decklist if the format requires it and you haven't already submitted it online.
• Bring a valid ID for identity verification if required.

Decklist submission

Formats that require decklists will prompt you to submit during registration. You can update your decklist before the event starts. Check the event listing for the deadline.

Pairings

Events use Swiss or Round Robin pairings depending on the event. The format is listed on the event page. Swiss pairings match players with similar records each round. Round Robin means every player faces every other player.

During the event

• Follow the rules of the format being played.
• Judges or staff are available to resolve disputes.
• Results are recorded after each round.
