What should I know before attending an event?

Before you go

• Check the event page for the venue and start time. Arrive on time. If you are late, you may miss round 1.
• Bring your deck, and make sure it follows the format's rules.
• If the event needs a decklist, submit it on the event page before the event starts.
• If you still need to pay your entry fee at the store, pay at the counter when you check in.

Pairings

Events use Swiss or Round Robin pairings. In Swiss, each round you play someone with the same or a similar record. In Round Robin, you play every other player once. Ask staff which one your event uses.
